Immediate past Accountant General of Imo state, Donald Igbo, is dead.
A close associate of the family, who confirmed the news of his death to The Agenda online said he died in a public hospital in Owerri, Imo State.
“Yes! I can confirm to you that bro. Donald Igbo is dead. He died in a hospital in Owerri. Although I am yet to get all the details regarding the actual cause of his death, he had high blood pressure. He was also diabetic.”
Until March 2020, when he was fired by Governor Hope Uzodinma, Donald Igbo was the Accountant General of Imo State.
He handed over to Obieze Chukwukama, who was appointed by the Hope Uzodinma-led administration to take over from him in March 2020.
