Renowned Nigerian transgender and fashion enthusiast Daniel Anthony Nsikan, popularly known as Jay Boogie, has issued a distress call regarding the adverse effects of a failed Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure.

As reported by DAILY POST, Jay Boogie had urged the public a week ago to hold responsible a surgeon identified as Dinma from Curvy Girl Essentials Clinic for any repercussions stemming from the botched surgery.

During an Instagram live session on Thursday with Nigerian doctor Loveth Jennifer, based in Namibia, Jay Boogie expressed his financial plight and the struggle to survive following kidney damage sustained during the unsuccessful surgery.

He lamented, “Nobody is donating funds anymore; my condition is getting worse, and all my life savings have been going on dialysis and diapers. I pray it doesn’t take my life. My career has been messed up. How do I take care of my siblings?”

In a subsequent statement on his page on Friday, Jay Boogie appealed to the public for financial assistance to cover medical bills. The post highlighted that since November 1, he has been undergoing dialysis and treatment for sepsis, depleting his life savings. He acknowledged the support received from the Nigerian plastic surgery community and a few friends but requested additional funds for ongoing medical treatment to facilitate recovery.

Renowned musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido, recently asserted during an appearance on an American podcast, ‘Business Untitled,’ that his family plays a significant role in Nigeria’s energy sector by operating four power plants. According to him, these power plants make substantial contributions to Nigeria’s electricity supply.

In discussing his family’s business ventures and personal investments, Davido mentioned his brief foray into cryptocurrency due to its popularity in Nigeria. He also highlighted his family’s involvement in the energy sector, emphasizing their ownership of four lucrative power plants that distribute electricity across a considerable portion of Nigeria.

Additionally, Davido disclosed plans to venture into the restaurant business with his wife, who has a passion for culinary arts. However, he reiterated that his primary focus remains on his music career.

While Davido’s family boasts wealth and investments in the energy sector, some observers may dispute his claim that their power plants supply the majority of Nigeria’s energy needs. The Nigerian government owns most of the significant thermal and hydropower plants in the country.
