Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Rachel Edward, has cautioned women against entering into relationships with men who earn N800,000 or less monthly, particularly in Lagos. She argued that such a salary wouldn’t suffice to meet a woman’s needs, emphasizing that it would barely cover the cost of a single wig.

Expressing her perspective on her social media platform, the reality star stated, “As a lady, you can’t settle for a man with N800,000 as salary in Lagos. One wig and your man’s salary is finished, baby girl.”

Her statement generated varied reactions from social media users.

@OmotayoOfLagos criticized Edward’s focus solely on material possessions, suggesting that she should consider investment opportunities or strategies to multiply the N800,000 income rather than fixating on wigs and superficial lifestyle choices.

@DianaBest echoed the sentiment that an N800,000 salary is insufficient in the current economic climate, questioning its adequacy in meeting basic needs.

@LonelyAfrica emphasized the importance of pursuing meaningful endeavors and building financial stability with partners instead of solely prioritizing material possessions like wigs. They suggested investing in long-term ventures and mutually supporting each other for lasting success.

Newly evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Benjamin Olufemi, known as Ben has revealed why he relocated from the United Kingdom, UK to join the show.

DAILY POST reports that Ben was evicted from the season 9 edition of the show on Sunday.

Speaking in an interview with some journalists on Wednesday, the nightlife promoter stated that he aimed to utilize the platform to promote his business.

“First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.

“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.

“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was I had to pay all my bills before coming.”

Big Brother Naija contestant Wanni has issued an apology to her fellow housemate, Onyeka, following a heated argument between them.

The conflict arose after Onyeka accused Wanni of gossiping about her behind her back. In response, Wanni angrily called Onyeka a “childish b*tch” and insisted that she had only spoken about her in her presence.

Wanni’s twin sister, Handi, criticized her for escalating the situation and using offensive language. Taking her sister’s advice to heart, Wanni decided to apologize to Onyeka, specifically for the derogatory term she used.

Wanni explained that she struggles with her emotions, especially when hurt by those she considers friends. She admitted that her outburst was a result of her frustration and acknowledged that her response was inappropriate.

“I got very angry, which is why I used that word,” Wanni said. “Because I consider us friends, I get very emotional when I feel hurt by my friends. I shouldn’t have reacted that way. You had every right to be upset, and I should have addressed the issue more calmly. I’m sorry for using that term and for how I spoke to you. I’m working on controlling my emotions, and I promise to do better. I don’t gossip behind people’s backs; if I have something to say, I will say it to their face.”
