My family distribute electricity to most of Nigeria – Davido
Renowned musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido, recently asserted during an appearance on an American podcast, ‘Business Untitled,’ that his family plays a significant role in Nigeria’s energy sector by operating four power plants. According to him, these power plants make substantial contributions to Nigeria’s electricity supply.
In discussing his family’s business ventures and personal investments, Davido mentioned his brief foray into cryptocurrency due to its popularity in Nigeria. He also highlighted his family’s involvement in the energy sector, emphasizing their ownership of four lucrative power plants that distribute electricity across a considerable portion of Nigeria.
Additionally, Davido disclosed plans to venture into the restaurant business with his wife, who has a passion for culinary arts. However, he reiterated that his primary focus remains on his music career.
While Davido’s family boasts wealth and investments in the energy sector, some observers may dispute his claim that their power plants supply the majority of Nigeria’s energy needs. The Nigerian government owns most of the significant thermal and hydropower plants in the country.

‘I relocated from UK to take part in BBNaija’ – Ben
Newly evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Benjamin Olufemi, known as Ben has revealed why he relocated from the United Kingdom, UK to join the show.
DAILY POST reports that Ben was evicted from the season 9 edition of the show on Sunday.
Speaking in an interview with some journalists on Wednesday, the nightlife promoter stated that he aimed to utilize the platform to promote his business.
“First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.
“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.
“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was I had to pay all my bills before coming.”

BBNaija S9: Wanni apologises to Onyeka after messy fight
Big Brother Naija contestant Wanni has issued an apology to her fellow housemate, Onyeka, following a heated argument between them.
The conflict arose after Onyeka accused Wanni of gossiping about her behind her back. In response, Wanni angrily called Onyeka a “childish b*tch” and insisted that she had only spoken about her in her presence.
Wanni’s twin sister, Handi, criticized her for escalating the situation and using offensive language. Taking her sister’s advice to heart, Wanni decided to apologize to Onyeka, specifically for the derogatory term she used.
Wanni explained that she struggles with her emotions, especially when hurt by those she considers friends. She admitted that her outburst was a result of her frustration and acknowledged that her response was inappropriate.
“I got very angry, which is why I used that word,” Wanni said. “Because I consider us friends, I get very emotional when I feel hurt by my friends. I shouldn’t have reacted that way. You had every right to be upset, and I should have addressed the issue more calmly. I’m sorry for using that term and for how I spoke to you. I’m working on controlling my emotions, and I promise to do better. I don’t gossip behind people’s backs; if I have something to say, I will say it to their face.”
Onyeka accepted Wanni’s apology after hearing her out.
