NAF airstrikes foil terrorists’ attack in Borno

Acting on reliable intelligence, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), as part of Operation Hadin Kai, carried out airstrikes on major Boko Haram hideouts located at Tumbumma Baba and Chiralia in the southern Tumbuns region of Borno State.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, confirmed the operation in a statement. He explained that the targeted strikes focused on terrorist facilities believed to be used for logistics and operational planning, successfully disrupting planned attacks meant to interfere with the upcoming Eid festivities.

The airstrikes eliminated several insurgents and destroyed crucial logistical infrastructure. Ejodame emphasized that this proactive move highlights the Air Force’s ongoing dedication to protecting civilians and advancing the nation’s security goals.
