The central region will see cloudy skies in the morning and moderate rain with thunderstorms later in the day. Light rain is expected to persist throughout the day in the southern region.

NiMet also warned of strong winds that may precede thunderstorms and advised the public to take safety measures, such as securing loose items, avoiding travel during heavy rain, and disconnecting electrical appliances. Residents were also cautioned to avoid standing near tall trees, while airline operators were urged to obtain airport-specific weather updates from NiMet for safe flight planning.
