Robbie Savage, a former Manchester United player, has suggested that manager Erik ten Hag could be sacked by Christmas if the Red Devils don’t improve their performances.
Savage believes that ten Hag is under pressure at Old Trafford, especially after the team’s recent 3-1 Premier League defeat against Brighton at home. He said that Manchester United are already out of the title race after only five games, and that ten Hag needs to get the team playing in a way that allows the players to play to their full abilities.
Savage said that ten Hag should be given till at least Christmas because the new players need time to buy into his philosophy and way of playing, but if things don’t get better come that time, he thinks it might be time for a change.
In other words, Savage is saying that ten Hag is on thin ice and that he needs to start getting results quickly. If he doesn’t, he could be out of a job by Christmas.
