EPL: Saka, Martinelli to make Arsenal squad vs Man City

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, may have both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli available for the Premier League match against Manchester City on Sunday.

Gabriel Martinelli had been recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during a victory over Everton the previous month, causing him to miss the last six Arsenal matches.

Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka had to leave the field during Arsenal’s Champions League defeat to Lens due to an injury concern. However, the initial scan conducted on Wednesday indicated that Saka’s injury was not severe. A subsequent scan also confirmed that there was no serious injury, making the 22-year-old eligible to play against Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday.

According to the Daily Mail, Saka participated fully in training on Saturday without any issues, and Gabriel Martinelli has shown significant progress in his recovery over the past 48 hours. This development suggests that Martinelli might also be in contention for a late inclusion in the team.
