Nigerian musician Davido expressed delight over receiving a Rolex wristwatch gift from Atletico Madrid player Memphis Depay. The striker reportedly presented Davido with the luxury watch, worth millions of naira, following Davido’s performance at his 30th birthday celebration.

Confirming the news on his Instagram story, Davido mentioned that it was a rare occurrence for him to receive gifts, despite having received cash gifts from Nigerian celebrities during past birthdays, which he later donated to charity. Davido also remarked that he has typically been the one giving gifts to others and expressed gratitude to Depay for the gesture. He wrote, “He bought me a Rolex on his own birthday! I’ve never received gifts; I’ve always been the one to gift people. I love and appreciate you @memphisdepay.”
