Atleast seven persons have been reportedly killed in Faru, a community in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, following an attack by gunmen otherwise known as bandits.
Recall that bandits had attacked another local government in the state few days ago, killing at least 48 Villagers.
Recounting what happened in Faru community, sources who spoke during a Channels TV interview said the gunmen attacked the community around 2pm on Sunday and started shooting sporadically.
The source revealed that atleast seven persons were killed during the attack.
As at the time of this report, police authorities in Zamfara are yet to react to this particular attack by bandits in the state.
This is coming few days after bandits attacked and killed at least 48 persons in Sabon Gari Damri, Damri, and Kalahe communities – all in Bakura Local Government Area of the state.
